The Archdiocese of Glasgow is divided into nine deaneries (over 100 parishes) in the West of Scotland. The City of Glasgow is the main population centre along with the ancient town of Dumbarton in the West and the New Town of Cumbernauld in the East. The Archdiocese extends to Bearsden and Milngavie in the North and all the way to Balloch and Garelochhead in the west. “
