The Diocese of Dunkeld covers an expansive area that includes the east coast of Angus, North and West Fife, Perth and Kinross, Clackmannanshire and into Stirling, including Arbroath, Callander, Dunblane, Dundee and Perth.
Its cathedral is the 19th C. Gothic St. Andrew's in Dundee.
The Youth Office provides spiritual input for these schools by offering day retreats at the Pastoral Centre for groups from primary 7 to 6th year secondary. Primary retreats focus on the transition to secondary school, whilst secondary retreats for all year groups are about basic evangelisation, with a focus on building a personal relationship with Jesus. The days are run by the youth officer and usually include input from other young people in the diocese who come in to share their faith by giving their personal testimonies, leading prayer and taking part in games and discussion. The participation of priests is an essential and valued element of the day. Priests take part in a variety of ways and always conclude the retreat with holy Mass
